Well with Eid happening last week, it was the official end of the fundraiser to help the homeless this year. We raised $1275 this year thanks to all of you! I’m waiting for Stripe to send me the total funds and I’ll distribute it to the various charities. Thank you again for your support. Here’s the final list of donors:
Eid celebrations were much better than the non-existent ones last year. My family visited a new mosque that had opened and it seems HUGE. For once, the prayers and sermons went on like clockwork. That helped a lot since it was a work day and I had a case to do! Afterwards it was off to my parents for lots of food.
The weekend has so far been a bit social. It was a friend’s birthday yesterday and we went for a Churrasco dinner. I had never been and haven’t been this full for a while!
Today, after a couple of cases, it was time for a coffee at Seven Seeds (an awesome Melbourne cafe and coffee roaster) and then off to a photoshoot with a friend who is an anaesthetist and a musician to help for an album cover.
Whew! It’s been busy and social!
