This week has been quite nice: it’s been full of variety (well, as much as possible in lockdown) with work at a few different places, meetings and zoom calls. Normally, it’s mostly clinical work.
I made it out to one of my favourite hospitals and made the most of an early morning finish to go for a quick walk along the beach. It may seem a small thing, but given people in Melbourne have been in 5km bubbles, I was just glad to see a change in scenery!
I’d never really done opinion survey things for medical products but this week, I had a ONE HOUR survey on IV cannulas. I didn’t think there was that much to talk about with regards to them, but we ran over time! Good thing they’re sending a voucher! It was actually pretty fun. Turns out, if asked, you can have opinions about all sorts of things even if it’s a simple IV cannula. I didn’t realise I was such a diva about it…
I also did a couple of courses this week. One was an MBA in half a day. Totally oversold on the premise, but was quite interesting to learn what a board member does and other various things I had never considered. I had some company from the cats.
In other news, I was wandering around Melbourne the other day and saw it was lit up in blue and red. Didn’t realise it was to support the Melbourne Demons AFL football club. The instagram photo was quite popular and ended up getting re-posted by the official football team! Now I don’t follow sports at all, but it seems like it was quite a big deal…
