As I type this, the announcement that Victoria will come out of it’s record breaking lockdown is just trickling through. I’m both excited and nervous given a) I REALLY need a haircut and b) our hospitals are REALLY full right now. Mainly I’m just looking forward to seeing my parents who live just outside the 15km travel radius whom I haven’t seen in months…
The weather here has been chaotic to say the least! Just hours before this photo was taken, Melbourne was getting pelted by heavy rains and wind. It all settled down and became still by the time the afternoon came around.
That was fortunately since I have been spending way too much time indoors and learning Python again (see below). Currently, I’m learning how to recreate an iconic game…
Honestly, I didn’t think I’d enjoy learning programming as much as I have. It feels something like playing with Lego: taking a big idea and breaking it into smaller and smaller parts with the added benefit of only having to do one step once if you’ve done it right the first time!
Luckily the cats have been keeping me company on this otherwise solitary time. Every time I go to have a break on the couch, one of them is sure to jump on my lap. Luna has a very cute habit of resting her head on me…
